Apply to become a Hummingbird Athlete.

We’re looking for athletes who consistently perform at the front of the amateur and professional fields and represent the values of Hummingbird; performance, professionalism, and community. Applications are open to men and women competing at the Ironman, Ironman 70.3, or equivalent distances.

Performance Standards (Moderate Course Benchmark). To be considered, athletes should meet at least one of the following:

Performance standards to apply

  • Men: Sub-4:20 finish time on a moderate course

  • Women: Sub-4:50 finish time on a moderate course

  • (Adjust expectations ±10–15 minutes for exceptionally fast or challenging courses.)

  • Minimum 2× Age-Group Podiums at Ironman 70.3 or equivalent races in the past 12 months

  • (Overall amateur podiums or Top-10 finishes are considered automatic qualifications.)

Team Fit

  • Uphold a positive, community-driven presence online and in person

  • Contribute to Hummingbird Collective events or content when possible

  • Embody the brand’s commitment to making triathlon more accessible, entertaining, and inspiring
